ive juz remembered dat ive got no shoes. shoes to wear wif baju kurung.

wen i say ive got no shoes to wear, i reali mean it. coz all i’ve got are sandals and flip flops. i even wear sandals to work daily.

shoes are often not on my shopping list as searching for shoes can be a big pain in da ass. try looking for a size 10-11 ladies shoes and it muz be open toe. pointed shoes are a no-no unless im feeling da need of endless pain for da day.

wen i need proper lady shoes, often i head down to charles and keith coz dey carry my size and da price is affordable. well, may i’ll head down dere tomoro after work to look for da pair of cheap, low heel, black shoe.

ive so got no mood to work. i tink moz of da malay peeps in spore feeling da same way as me rite? mood nak berayalah katakan.

 too bad dat da exams have to coincide wif hari raya. laz time, in NIE, we used to spend hari raya wif notes in our hands. now, i guess its da kids turn.

now, no more notes in my hands. but karangan and other worksheets in my hand while giving out duit raya.

so sianz. i wanna go home ;(

what to cook next? October 7, 2007

wantan noodle was a blast. Hubby liked it veri much and commented dat it tasted juz like da ones sold outside. one thumb up!

 anoder thumb up from ayah dearest who commented dat da wantan noodle was delicious. onli bro complained dat da wantan noodle gave him migraine and caused him to miss class at SIM. as if!

so im happy dat i managed to whip up somting delish. but sori no pix. cant be bothered to take pix at 4am and all hot and sweaty from da cooking.

 dat wantan recipe was one of da easiest to cook i tell you. it can even be prepared much earlier, stored in the fridge and fried or made into wantan soup weneva ya wish. so weneva i less lazy, i post da recipe yarh.

but now, thinking and thinking and thinking hard wat to cook next for sahur tomoro. looked for noodle recipes on da net but moz of dem are wifout pixs. i dont reali fancy recipes wifout pixs. coz i wanna know wat my end result is suppose to turn out like.

 so any delish soupy noodle to share. or mayb recommend den i can look it up on da net? many thx

Hubby is working today. and I had tusyen at amk at 3pm. since i was alreadi at aljunied home, i decided to pop into TKC to look for tudung before heading to AMK. i reached TKC at around 1pm and OMG, da place was so packed wif people. imagine Geylang at nite. dats why Hubby been reluctant to bring me dere at nite. dat was TKC alone. i didnt venture further. tak kuasa.

and several tudung i did buy to match my baju kurungs. i did not want to abuse my black tudung further by wearing it with every single assemble dat i have.

for da past hari rayas, where i did not tailor ani new baju kurung and instead reused all past years baju kurung. i would buy dose cheap 20 bucks baju kurung at geylang bazaar. but dis year, i have a abundance of baju kurung. around 10 pairs in all i would say. altho i dont tink im gonna use all dat baju kurung dis yr.

5 pair wa sewn before da wedding. thot of tailoring dose baju kurung and use dem wen we go sembah-sembah after da wedding. but da baju kurung ended up chucked in da corner of wadrobe coz i was too lazy to dress up. and i have da habit of collecting unsewn cloth and recently mom-in-law recommended her fren who sews baju kurung at onli $20 per suit. so why not. i sent her 5 pieces of cloth to be sewn. so dere you go, 10 pairs in all.

since i have a Hubby now. our first hari raya together as hubby and wifey. so i tink  have to dress up like isteri orang kan…not like da asal boleh pakai minah single dat i was. so i cant wait to dress up for my Hubby

alhamdulilah, confirm this mth’s pay will be on da 8th instead of da 12th. juz checked da payslip. raya will not be raya without ani moolah would it.

this yr’s ramadan felt xtremely short. cant believe dat nxt sat will be raya alreadi. and i have not prepared aniting seriusly. preparation for the upcoming exams, setting of papers, worrying abt the kids and endless piles of work seems far more important.

this ramadan is a special one. spending it wif Hubby. it has been enlightening. everiday is a new experience waiting to be discovered. hehe. and i have cooked for Hubby. being da cerewet eater he is. i try hard to prepare food of his liking. more noodle and soup instead of rice. so da lazy and hates cooking me has turned into a domesticated wife. its been fun to discover dat i actuali can make edible food. but i do still hate cooking!

 in fact yours truly will embark on an xtremely new adventure of preparing wanton soup noodle tomoro. and a repeat request of brownies wif lots of assorted nuts. insyallah. Hubby sounded super thrilled wen i told him abt me cooking tomoro. dat Hubby of mine would always gif me a thumbs up review for everi single dish i cook, even tho he haf yet to taste dem. his form of encouragement to make me cook more. but i feel touched and loved everi time he does dat. altho i know nt everiting dese hands of mine whips up taste delish.

 i hope da wantons will turn out a-ok tomoro. wish me luck!
