i had a wonderful lunch today.
a mountain of nasi ayam + veggie bought from tong seng. the coffee shop behind bugis junc.
the nasi so sedap. altho i could do with more chicken. and chilli.
if only the food in school is as nice.
another pretty pretty wedding cupcakes made by mama.
lurve those pinks. and those pink bows ribbons. i did that till my back ached. but so worth it.
Hubby belanja-ed me popeyes at the spore flyer yesterday. hurrah! now no need to go to airport to eat popeyes!
cant believe that area changed so much. that marina promenade holds much much memories for me & Hubby. we pak toh-ed there like siow in the beginning of our relationship. hehe.
anyways we gorged ourselves on popeyes. and i tink im addicted to the smacking delicious mash potato which we bought two medium each coz we couldnt get enuf of it. and not forgetting the butter cookies (which i doubt is reali is a cookie, more like scone). not reali into the chicken. chicken was okay okay. we are juz in lurve with the mash potato & butter cookies.
then we went exploring the spore flyer. $30+ for each person. and during peak hours if you want to beat the queue, juz pay $20 xtra. we went xploring, not went for a ride. i dont tink its worth $30+ juz to see the view of spore from that height. but Hubby has plans to bring the his whole family (that includes his beloved Wifey) on the flyer. so free ride…dont mind, dont mind. 
coffee bean & tea leaf is now halal. hurrah! another makan place going the halal way.
hurrah for us! wider range of food to eat.

had mcgriddles for breakfast before heading off to work. new menu on the mcdonalds’ block, so my try mah.
looked deliciously inviting. in the pix at least. $3.90 for one without egg and cheese. $4.10 for one with egg and cheese.
i didnt like it. it made my tekak loya. imagine eating a piece of meat topped with honey and chilli sauce. its like spicy, sweet and savoury all mixed together. yucky!
and for $3.90 piece of plain mcgriddles, the price was not worth the size. it was so small. and looked so pathetic. poor my mom. she didnt have a full breakfast juz eating the mcgriddles.
well mine looked juz a little big bigger with the egg present.
so that will be the first and the last for me. should have sticked to the normal big breakfast!
this is like a week overdue. but wat the heck. wanna blog about the short trip to KL last thurs.
it was reali a short trip. set of on thurs morning and reached home on friday nite.
it was reali a food trip. all we did there was eat, eat & eat. my tum tum didnt have a moments rest from food that entire two days.
after putting our things down at the hotel room, we immediately set out to klcc.
headed stret to o’brien. me & Hubby’s been mengidam-ing their sandwich. he ate his beef sandwich while i got my salmon sandwich. yummy! that was just the appetiser hehe.
after finishing our sandwiches, we headed to a&w. i had waffles, coney dog & root beer. after the meal at a&w, i couldnt tahan no more. Hubby even suggested heading to manhattan fish market but i said no, no, no! tum tum couldnt tahan no more. was juz waiting to xplode.
so we rested and caught a movie. 20rm=ard 8 bucks S$. how cheap is that. if movie is that cheap in spore, i’ll be catching every single movie. we watched ‘rule #1′. looked like good but actuali mepek. so peeps please dont waste ur moolahs ok. stroryline tidak ada logika even for a horror movie.
ok so after movies, we went to eat satay nearby pudu. everytime we head down to kl, that’s our routine makan place. tasty satay by the roadside.
Hubby wanted to cont with nasi kandar at the mamak shop but i said no, no, no again. satay was the last stop of the day. nuthin more can go in the tum tum when apparently nuthin have made its way out as yet. haha!
so dats DAY 1 eating frenzy.
DAY 2 started with a heavy, heavy breakfast at the hotel we stayed. i was alreadi damn full with breakfast alone. Hubby planned to head down to o’brien and pack some sandwich for our trip back home but after we found subway unexpectedly! yipee! we forgot totally about o’brien. kesian o’brien.
we were so hepi when we found subway. we’ve been searching for subway for ages in kl but was unsuccessful. to lepas our geram, we pigged out at subway by ordering a very long, foot-long to be exact, sandwich each. and bought some more sandwich for our trip back.
so now everitime we pass by subway in spore, me & Hubby will be like saying how we alreadi miss subway sandwich and when’s the next kl trip, juz to savour all the subway’s sanwiches.
soon. very soon Hubby.
to the subway people, why dont make subway in spore halal??? me & Hubby swear to be your loyal patrons.
didnt know i miss nie campus’ chicken chop & spagheti that much. nearly two years.
as i gobbled down my food like one gelojoh, i actuali bit real hard on my lower lips. its swollen now.
spicy food will be out for today. kissing Hubby was a bit of a pain. but for that i persevered. 
im gonna have the chicken chop & spagheti again tomoro. and again on wednesday.
till i feel sian.
who knows when i ‘ll get to taste it again.

now i know why da place called mad jack.
the owner must be one mad fella to tink dat his menu of food are is edible for the human kind.
so we went to mad jack at bedok since we were juz nearby. altho ive heard several warnings about how mad it is, i juz refused to listen till i experienced it on my own. should have juz listened to those advises and not waste my money and more importantly, waste my appetite.
i ordered cheese fries and cheezy rice. Hubby ordered blue mountain burger, claimed to be the biggest burger. Hubby ordered the burger in hope it will be as good as spize’s. NOT!
cheese fries came. normal fries wif some spices on it. mayo n cheese sauce came in a separate bowl. mayo tasted like mayo. while cheese sauce tasted more like mustard, even the color, greenish yellowish. not even one trace of cheese taste. so utterly dissapointed. 
den came da cheezy rice wif chicken. no other taste xcept it was salty. i kept adding pepper for some taste. in da end, i onli ate 1/2 of it. never have i rejected cheese. eva! juz couldnt keeping shoving the rice into. almost puked right dere and den. :((
while Hubby ordered cheese-less burger. dey got it wrong the first time. so we waited. when it came, it didnt look dat huge. wat was so dissapointing was dat the meat was not cooked properly. still very soft on the inside. like we were eating rare steak. unsurprisingly, dat too was half-eaten. :(((
feeling so dissapointed. shaking our head. we headed off home. swearing neva eva stepping into mad jack again.
i tink i got constipation for 2 days after dat horrendous eating xperience.
