My 1st Teachers’ Day August 31, 2006

was doing dis entry yesterday nite but something freaky happened at home, so stopped halfway. dat freakish story will be in anoder entry.

i tink everiday shld be teachers’ day, den all students wld be xtra nice to us, stop their quest as devils and turn into angels. but den, wldnt students wish it wld be teachers’ day everiday also coz dey wont get scolded by us and no lessons.

my p4 kid, zulafian: “apasal cikgu hari ni nampak hepi aje eh? tak garang macam selalu.”

anoder kid, aidy, juz refused to talk. kept writing wat he wanted to know on a piece of paper. totally refused to tell me why. dis particular boy likes to talk nonsense. mayb on dis special day, he decided to bertaubat and spare me his nonsense.

basically da kids went berserk coz today cikgu maria wasnt garang, didnt or seriously attempted not to scold any of dem, and bez part no lessons.

i was totally layaning da p4s till i totally forgot to pass dem their homework for da hols. nvm kids, u enjoy ur hols. when u come back, its back to cikgu maria the garang.

Story Of Ct Nurhaliza & Mawi August 28, 2006

my sangatsanggup.com mom bought antenna booster worth 80 bucks for her tv in her room, juz to get tv3 to catch datin ct nurhaliza and datuk k sanding on their big, big pelamin in da big, big klcc. and me, guilty as charged, watched it too lah. mayb about 30 mins. after dat, haiyah tak kuasalah. i rather sit in front of my lappie and watch tv in my room.

and on tv1, another “hot” a two-way show between mawi and his ex-tunang, ina. tv1 menemukan mawi dan ina. macam-macam dunia artis ni. putus tunang pon satu dunia mesti nak tau. mesti nak advertise satu msia, spore, batam or whereva yang dapat tv1. and frankly ina’s voice not nice ah. not dat i say her voice sucks but mayb not cut out to cut an album?

crap.

eh but ct nurhaliza’s baju nikah and sanding nice hor. so glittery. i want one, can?

and show mawi-ina baru abis. dey did meet up at da end of da show. and when da credits were rolling, photographers asked ina to salam and cium tangan mawi so dat dey can take pixs. wat tootness is dat?! dahlah bukan tunang lagi, yang nak salam-salam cium tangan lagi tu buat pe? sesungguhnya publisiti murahan lah oi!!! menyampah!

today was da day of meeting close frenz and having good chats wif dem.

man! its been so long since ive been my usual self of being as a loud as a loudspeaker and talking crap. i so miss, miss talking u know. not normal talking. well, my close ones should know how i talk. most of da time merepek, blur and merepek. hehe.

okie, today went to da wedding dinner of my sec sch classmate, zamree. da clever me brought my cam but didnt charge it. bengang!

and dere met up wif siti, my fren since pri sch and sopiyanti, a fellow townsvillian. at least got people to bebual wif sambil tunggu pengantin and makan. good ting both siti and yanti are da peramah types, so unlike me. but food was good, veri good. by da mak pengantin lelaki herself.

and still in my purple baju kurung, i sambut da arrival of mak buyong and bapak buyong at my haus. im sori darling, mak buyong nak sangat2 tonton citer hindustan but i didnt haf time nor transportation to transport da vcds to her. ohhhh i miss u fard tau!!! i miss talking to her. and gossiping wif her. and complaining to her. basically juz talking to her. and calling her “fart” juz to irritate her. and i miss her calling me “mary”.

and rai, i saw her dah boleh nampak her tummy tau, hehehe. sori fard, im juz excited about ur tummy hor.

my current fav show is da “ghost whisperer”.

used to tink it one of dose lame ghost shows wif big boobs leading actress but i was wrong. dat show neva fails to make me teary eye. despite da crossing-over crap, walking thru da light crap and unfinished biz crap, da show is seriusly good.

so hepi to meet mira again. been long time since we talked and gossiped, even on the msn. we attempted to do juz dat while da kids in da classrooms were doing their work. but it was onli for a short time, as we were too good teachers to leave our kids alone juz to gossip.

imagine if all 5 or 6 of us actuali meet up, im sure it will be talks non-stop. when oh when is dat actuali gonna happen??

good ting Dear drove today coz after da tusyen at aljunied, i rushed to b.batok for anoder tusyen session. mayb i shld do dis tusyen tingy full time, juz like mile bug. how mira wanna join me?

and after all dat tusyen, we went to lot 1 to catch ‘ghost game’. scary movie. go catch it. i gif it 31/2 popcorns.

da greedy us watched not 1 but 2 movies in 1 day. watched ‘Sophie Scholl: The Final Days’ coz Dear reali wanted to catch it. he’s got this fascination over war movies. but, da one who wanted to watch da movie ended up asleep while ’sophie’ was fighting for her dear life in da big screen.

as for da 2nd movie, it was unintended. we watched ‘Sophie Scholl: The Final Days’ at PS and den stopped juz for awhile at Cathy on our way to get some fruit juice. while looking at ‘The Break up’ poster, skali we heard somebodi asking, “are you interested in that movie?” a couple wanted to sell their tix at onli $10. my greedy fiance, jumped at da chance and bought. so dat’s da stori how we ended up watching ‘The Break Up’.

anywae, ‘Sophie Scholl: The Final Days’ was good, for me. dont xpect any actions coz 3/4 of da movie are juz people talking and talking non-stop. i tink da onli action would be da execution of Sophie, where her head went onto the chopping board. serius tak bedek. i gif it 4 popcorns.

synopsis: In 1943, as Hitler continues to wage war across Europe, a group of college students mount an underground resistance movement in Munich. Dedicated expressly to the downfall of the monolithic Third Reich war machine, they call themselves the White Rose. Its only female member, Sophie Scholl, is captured during a dangerous mission to distribute pamphlets on campus with her brother Hans. ‘The Break Up’, i tink its somting all couple should take the time to at least watch it. wen i was watching it, it was kind of deja vu, coz many of da fighting/quarelling/shouting/screaming/crying scenes seem so familiar, it was scary. serius. especially da part where they broke up, it seriusly reminded me da time wen me and Dear had dat terrible terrible fight. if you are xpecting farni, its not dat farni comedy coz most of da time, da hero is either shouting/being sarcastic/sad. occasional laughs. sad, dere was tears in my eyes. i gif it 3 1/2 popcorns. go watch it

dis little one, da one dat have been lighting up our otherwise mundane life for da past 4 months. especially my parents. now dey seem like newlyweds wif their first child. and becoz of dis little one, my father who was going thru a rough patch have been looking and feeling much much better. its like getting my old dad again.

so little one, altho you were a stranger to our family, with no relation watsoeva, you certainly are a blessing in disguise. you wif ur scrunched up smile. i love you danish, in fact da whole family adores you.

my ipod went kaput. da batt went kaput. so we went to da service centre hoping and hoping that it is still under warranty but warranty ended in july. shucks! $79 for change of batt which can onli last up to 8 hours compared to da normal 18 hours. $109 for an xchange for new ipod mini. and if i trade in my current one, its onli worth $70. eh eh boleh gitu. my larling paid $300 for dat tiny piece of mp3 and now its onli worth $70!!

so wat shld i do now?? shld i juz change da batt or top up a couple more dollars and get a brand new one or juz buat bodoh and trade in and get da ipod video? i tink da laz option is not even a possible option coz i’ve got no money to spare. mayb i shld juz chuck da ipod mini aside and get a cheap mp3 player. hhmmm dat sounds like a good idea.

before dat we went ayam penyeting at lucky plaza. my 2nd time ayam penyeting. we went to dis ayam penyet ria. da sambal belacan or sambal ayam penyet was power gedebak! pedes, shiok! i got a little bit of a shock wen Dear ayam penyet came wif it head still attached to its body. if it was my mom or mayb mommy fard, i tink deir appetite would haf been spoiled. but da hungry me chose to stare at da chicken head and wonder for a few moments before hunger seriusly took over and i finished up my headless chicken. yikes! tinking again, Dear’s chicken must haf been juz a baby chicken. hehe

heres anoder snapshot of anoder kitty who happens to be at da same exact spot everi single morning, so i’ll see him and pat him on my way to work. tomoro muz, muz remind myself to bring him/her some kitty biscuit.
