Reasons why we may not be getting a unit in this walk-in-selection:
1. our queue number is 3675…we applied way too late.
2. Dear’s race is Chinese and many areas don wan animore Chinese residents…should haf put my name as the 1st applicant.
3. not many units available in the area of our choice, dat is Bedok & Tiong Bahru.
Nevertheless, we haf send in our application form and our next appointment is on the 29th. I dont tink many units will be available by den. If we do get the unit that we want, we haf to pay a booking fee of $2000! Baru ingat duit bonus nanti nak enjoy sakan.
After me and Dear stepped out of the HDB Hub, we were in a kind of daze coz it juz struck us dat we juz went to apply for our own house. Imagine dat, our own house! It made me feel veri hepi and scared at the same time. Hepi dat we may be having our own home and proud of Dear coz he seems so eager to get our own place. Scared knowing dat applying for a house together is anoder huge step towards marriage. Somtimes marriage scares me.
