History of Violence November 30, 2005

Nope I dont haf any history of violence but we went to watch ‘History of Violence. Draggy movie. Although da movie was around 1 1/2 hours but it felt like watching a 2 hour long movie. But it has lots of violence and blood. And several reali steamy scenes. I forgot to mention dat ‘History of Violence’ is rated RA.

To cut da stori short, its about a family man Tom Allan who owns a diner. One day 2 robbers tried to rob his diner and kill him and da customers inside in it. But Tom managed to save everibodi by shooting both da robbers. His face was shown on TV and da day after dat, 3 mafias came looking for Joey Cuzack. At first Tom denied dat he was Joey but at laz he shot da 3 mafias and revealed to his family dat he is Joey, a hitman. One by one, more mafias came looking for him. So its like after so many years trying to hide his true identity, it got revealed after he did a good deed. Moral of da stori, dont do good! Nolah…hehe.

After we finished watching dat draggy movie at 9pm, we went shopping for my dad’s bday pressie at Mustapha Centre. Dat place is foreva packed. Got my dad a G-Shock watch. Even got myself 2 hindustan movie, ‘Veer Zara’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta and ‘Salaam Namaste’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta again.

Nope, not dat I like Preity Zinta, I chose dose movies based on dose hensem heroes. Now Im off to meeting dose two Khans!

Foiled Plan November 29, 2005

Like I said previously, I wanted to do our kursus kahwin dis Dec since Im so damn free (thus so many posting in one day) and da bonus is coming, but Dear couldnt get any leave dis month. Not even for one day (bad S**F), so gonna haf to wait for next year, sob sob. But Dear would be paying for all da kursus expenses if we go next year, so ok lah. Next year den.

Will be going on a zoo trip wif da Geng soon (i dont tink Zal joining us rite??). Cant wait to see our frenz at da zoo khekhekhe. We gonna haf fun rite babes.

Im so dead bored staying at home and Ive got nuthin to do. Dear is bz at da hospital accompanying his apo (grandma in chinese). Ive not seen him for quite a while. I mish you *tears flowing down my cheeks alreadi*.

Kenit’s Strange Habits November 29, 2005

My baby Kenit has several strange habits, which Im not sure are da normal habits of a normal cat. So I wanna share it wif you all, especially to dose who haf and lurves cats (of coz NOT you Rai :P).

Kenit likes her biskit kucing fresh and rangup so if da biskit is yesterday’s and dah masuk angin, she wont eat. She would standby at dat exact corner everitime, as if to signal to us, “Haloo cant u see I need fresh biskit!”. So as not to waste da old biskit (which can still b eaten), my mom taught us to eksyen mix a little bit of new biskit wif da old biskit, konon-konon macam semua biskit baru. Den dis makcik ngada-ngada will makan.

Everi nite, Kenit will sleep on da bed wif, and wont move. She’ll onli get up from bed at da same time as me. So everitime, I haf to make some space for her on da bed. She will sleep anywhere she wans, even between my legs, behind me, on top of my pillow and blanket. Dia buat macam katil dialah.

Dis little darling also drinks from a cup, a bowl, basically aniting filled wif water. Her favourite is cold iced drink, even coke. So everitime dis makcik’s drinking glass on da table is empty (yep dose cats ada gelas diaorg sendiri, tersedia atas meja), my mom will shout to me to go and fill it up wif iced water. And if we put our glasses on da table, we gotta be careful coz Kenit will always come and drink from our glass. Naughty lah dia ni.

Kenit lurves her ‘abang’, Ciput. She likes to irritate da latter by licking him non-stop until member tu bingit and wanna bite her. But after kena gigit by Ciput, Kenit will kepo-kepo com to him and again and try to lick his earslah, bodylah. Dia nak bersihkan badan abang dia.

One reali strange habit is she like to suck on my earlobe. Kenit has been fond of doing dat since I brought her home wen she was a kitten. Maybshe thot she was sucking milk from my ear…hehehe. Mayb dats why she’s veri close to me. But I seldom let her do dat nowadays coz her teeth are getting sharper and it hurts my ears.

Im gonna mish her so much wen I move to my in laws house next year..sob sob.

Im now watching ‘Paheli’, anoder romantic movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee. Actuali not da first time watching it, many times alreadi. Interesting wif da normal Hindi storiline but wif a little twist. It even has its official website www.pahelithefilm.com. Check out da website, cool.

‘Paheli’ meaning ‘Enchanting Riddle’. Tell you a little bit about da stori ok.

Once upon a time, there was a lovely girl Lachchi (Rani Mukherji) who was married to a man who was only interested in making money (Shahrukh Khan jadi macam nerd). There was a ghost (Shahrukh Khan also) who fell madly in love with her. On the wedding night itself, the husband left home for five long years on account of his business (wifout sleeping wif da gerl, stoopid guy!). The ghost took on the husband’s appearance and entered her life (da heroin, being desperate, slept wif da momok and she even bore a child. Powerlah momok ni!). A few years later, when the husband returned home, the villagers and relatives were bewildered. How does da movie ends?? Want to know?? Go buy da VCD urself lah! Hahaha…nah show you som photos to make you geram ok.

Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla (who has not acted for a long time), Suniel Shetty and Anupam Kher. Rani Mukherjee has got such nice eyes, I like looking at her eyes. Shah Rukh Khan is as usual cute, romantic hero. Geramnya aku!

Tired November 27, 2005

Poor Baby, he’s all tired after washing periuk belangas at his cuzin’s wedding. Imagine da caterer nya package tak termasuk cuci periuk belanga and pinggan mangkuk coz dey said dey were onli required to cook not to wash. Apa seh!

Not onli dat, his aunt pon tak engage any kendarat but didnt delegate da kendarat job to any sedara mara, so da sedara mara dere had to pandai-pandai sendiri angkat da used pinggan mangkuk. Kesian..

Paling membingitkan Dear was dat da pengantins didnt even bother to say thank u to da relatives who slogged da whole day. Ive seen many pengantins like dat and I doa wen my time comes, I wont be like dat.

Accident Prone Me November 27, 2005

Ive juz banged my hand or finger at the corner of da studi table and it hurts like hell! Wassup wif me?? It seems like dere are magnets in dose furniture dat attracts me towards dem. Even wen I intend to walk stret, I’ll end up walking senget and bang into a wall, cupboard, corner of a table. Sakit tau sampai lebam-lebam!

Why is Spore channel so boring?? Why oh why??? As you can see, Im whining like nobodis bzness coz I bored banget! Im got nuthin to do. Absolutely nuthin. Well dere mayb tings for me too do but I dont wan to do dem so lets juz pretend Ive reali got nuthin to do at da moment. No DVDs to watch (stoopid bro brought all DVDs to camp!), no mags to read, no nice stori to watch on any Spore channel and no Dear to tok to me!!!!!!!! Dear is washing periuk belanga at his cuzin’s wedding.

Oh yeah, I stepped out of da haus for like 2 hrs to attend da wedding. Oklah normal wedding. My mom kept asking Dear if he wanted da whole normal wedding affair e.g sanding, kompang, pelamin, but he said no tank u. He doesnt know how lucky he is to get me, a simple compromising person. If I am a normal Malay gerl, wif a normal Malay mother, it would be a grand wedding sanding affair. He wouldnt haf gotten his simple (N boring!) wedding. Oh nvm, I too wan a simple wedding. But I wan a perfect, nice simple wedding.

I cant wait to get pay on da 12th. It seems like eons away. Haiz life is kinda miserable wen u got no money in da wallet. I wanna go Arab St. and get som kain to make baju kurung. Buying kain is one ting, sending it to a tailor is anoder stori. Juz haf dis urge to splurge on somting expensive but being da practical person dat I am, let dat expensive tingy somting useful to me. But dis urge to spend onli comes wen I tgh pokai giler..chet!

Sori for being long-winded, I juz need to talk at da moment, even if its on da blog…hehe.

Prime & Sky High November 26, 2005

Poor Dear is working part time again today from 11pm-5am. Before dat we went to watch ‘Prime’ at Bugis. We bought so much snack to munch during da movie, its no wonder da couple is expanding left and right at such a fast rate. Didnt expect da movie to be 2 hours long, but it was an okay movie. It had a realistic ending. Expected it to end wif a fairytale ending, where the 37-year old woman to end up wif a 23-year old guy and live happily ever after…but it did not, hurrah!!

Storiline, 23-year old guy falls in love 37-year old woman but woman’s shrink is guy’s mom who dissapproves of da relationship. Relationship goes thru hardships but after 1 year, dey go their separate ways coz it didnt work out. Woman want to haf baby but guy too young.

Movie: Prime
Watch it: A romantic comedy wif lotsa and lotsa of making out scenes wif no fairytale ending. But be warned, lots and lots of talking.

Cant wait to catch ‘Saw 2′ and ‘Memoirs of The Geisha’.

Too date, Ive watched ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’, ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy’, Mr & Mrs Smith, Hotel Rwanda’, ‘The Longest Yard’, ‘My Boyfriend is Type-B’ and ‘Sky High’ on DVD. I am on movie marathon spree.

I suggest you watch ‘Sky High’ if you wan to watch some fun, super-hero, kiddy movie. Wen it was showing at the cinema, Dear wanted to catch it but I didnt want to coz I expected it to suck. But its good, imagine a school for super-heros ‘Sky High’, juz like a school for wizards ‘Hogwarts’. So fun!

Wat to do…’Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire’ was so sucky, had to find oder alternative movie to go crazy about.

Lappie Getting Old.. November 25, 2005

Dere’s somting wrong wif my lappie, its getting slower and slower, hanging here and everiwhere and I dont know wats wrong wif it. Ive deleted all junks and rubbish and haf defragmented it twice and deres still so much space BUT its still slow. Sakit kot lappie ni..nak kena antar pi tengok doktor ACER. Leceh betoilah!

I reali need to get a spare comp for my mom. She has been hogging my lappie everi single day and everi single moment dats she’s free. She would spend hours everiday bloghopping and net surfing to look for recipes. Dah pandai join recipe forum pulak tu. Makcik tu dah jadi ‘Mama Savvy’. Me pulak nak pakai kena tunggu my mom abis pakai or wen Im using da lappie, she will want to use it. Bukanlah bingit, geram sikiiiit aje. Lagi wen my bro’s home, it will be a tug-of-war between da two of dem sape yang nak pakai lappie dulu.

Anibodi wanna sell deir comp? Or lappie? Muz b cheap, below $500. But muz be working okie. Tinking of getting a brand new comp for her but pikir balik, betta I save da money for my marriage. Its not a need, its a want!

Juz now my mama’s frens came satu rombongan for Hari Raya / makan-makan. So much food, me eat a lot a lot today. Haf been eating none stop since exam fever started coz Im bored, stress and da appetite is juz overpowering. Being da tunang mithali, I send som food to Alexandra Firestation. Jauh jugak tempat tu (sebelah Queensway Shopping Centre) but it was all worth it wen Dear looked so hepi and appreciative dat I went thru all da trouble to send him food. He has been saying “Thank U Sayang” non-stop till he went to sleep juz now. And oh yeah he loved my brownies so much but psssstt..Ive not mentioned to him its courtesy of ‘Betty Crocker’..khekhekhe.

Got a splitting headache, so gonna sleep earli today…nitez.

Brownies November 24, 2005

Im done wif my final layout. I changed my template twice before deciding on dis bright color layout. Didnt find any template dat catches my attention at blogskins but too damn lazy to start from scratch. But I like dis layout, its retro!

I baked instant brownie for Dear juz now but I tink it didnt com out nice, it was too moist but it was cooked..but Im not sure whether it was cooked dat thoroughly. Baked it while mama was out, nak eksyen independant terror lah konon but ended up calling mama nearly 10 times asking how to on the oven, which measuring cup to use, how long to bake yada, yada, yada.

But Dear said it taste nice and dats enuf for me, although Im not dat satisfiedlah. I mean how hard is it to bake an instant brownie??

Dear is working part-time from 11pm till 5am yesterday and today, so Im up till he gets home. Thus da reason for da numerous change of template. Kecian dia, after finishing at 5am today, he’s off to his fireman job pulak. Nvm, he can keep himself awake by eating my brownie…
