Honeymoon or Hornymoon??? Hahahahaha October 31, 2005

Me and Dear was talking wif da oder engaged couple and my kaypoh and tembok thick skin fiance asked dem about their honeymoon destination. And den it was our turn to say out our destination of choice.

Well, bukan tak mampu, but if nak memang mampu coz we not gonna spend a lot on our wedding, insyallah, i hope so. Juz like my wedding, I do not want to spend much on my honeymoon. To me any destination can be our honeymoon as long we are both alone and are able to enjoy ourselves as newlyweds.

So I am trying hard to stop myself from requesting for a honeymoon to Australia. Pulau Redang or a Banyan Tree resort is more den enuf for me. My priority is to get our own home. We are alreadi planning to apply for a flat mayb by da end of dis year. And I wanna get my kursus kawin done and over wif before da start of da new year. Insyallah, hope everyting falls into places.

- haf not even start reading ‘Protes’ by Shahnon Ahmad, juz zapped it yest and OMG its tebal wif kuno malay lang….nolah juz da old malay, not kuno ok.

- haf not start reading my piles of notes on sastera islam

- my penaksiran integrasi…kinda loz at da moment

Baju Kurung October 28, 2005

5 more days to Hari Raya…eh eh cepatnya.

As wat all my frenz know, I am not a typical normal woman. Hahaha of coz I haf everyting a woman should haf lah but not som traits of a normal woman.

One of dem is I do not buy new baju kurung for Hari Raya. In fact I did not buy new baju kurung laz year and I am not gonna buy a new one dis year. Its not bcoz Ive got no money or Im a female version of Haji Bakhil but I dont buy new baju kurung coz dose baju kurung in my wadrobe are still wearable, still new, still pretty and still in fashion. So nope Im gonna recycle dem till I cant wear dem no more.

Dose baju kurung are reali being worn once a year. Kesian diaorg duduk dlm grobok lama-lama, sorang-sorang. Da purple one I wore laz year can still wear. Da pink one I bought from Aida is still so new. Still haf da yellow baju kurung dat I wore for my tunang (dat was da onli time I wore it) and anoder purple one which has neva been worn coz it now too big for me. See so many baju kurung but neva wear. So Im not gonna add to dat number by buying new ones.

But Im gonna get dose $20 baju kurung dat u see at dose lelong bazaar at Geylang. Dose are gonna be worn on da days I decide to clad a baju kurung to skool. Simple, less glamorous and dey are comfy too. Im juz too lazy lah to buy kain at Arab St and sent dem to da tailor.

See, Im not ur typical perempuan Melayu….khekhekhe.

I haf not cut my hair for nearly 2 1/2 years coz I cant be bothered too and Dear wans me to keep my hair long so I can becom Rapunzel, I had enuf of da my long dry and measly hair which keeps dropping everiday like nobodis bzness.

Tadaa…I haf cut it short, shoulder length and I’m loving it. I can see my curls again, I like.

But nope it’s not gonna stay dat short permanently. Im gonna grow it long again. But dis time Im gonna look after it…..mayb wen Im not lazy. And mayb cut down on da shampooing. For ur info, I shampoo my hair everytime I bathe. So if I bathe twice a day, den I’ll shampoo it twice in 1 day. Dats why my hair is like hay!

Anywae yesterday was da end of da classes and lectures and tutorials for dis semester…yesh ah! But dere are still 2 more huge assignments still looming on top of heads. Cant wait for 31st wen no more assignments for me! But dat onli means dat exams are juz around da corner…

Dissappointed…..in myself or him?? October 26, 2005

After months of tusyen, my boy came for his laz day of tusyen juz now and told me dat he left 5 problem sum questions blank coz he didnt know how to do dem, thus costing himself 20 marks juz like dat.

Wat made me feel so sad and so dissappointed is his failure to even attempt da questions. He didnt even try scribble anyting in the answer space but chose to leave dose spaces blank.

Wat does dat says about da way I taught him. I cant deny dat within dese 5-6 months of tusyen wif him, he haf improved a lot. Wen I started teaching him, he couldnt even do simple addition and subtraction but now he’s good in dem. He haf learned how to tell time and do fractions. But he has one bad habit dat reali pisses me off real bad..he would juz gif up once he deems da question to difficult or complicated for him. He doesnt even attempt to gif it a try.

Mayb it all goes back to his studying habit dat his family has instilled in him. He comes from a broken family and lives wif grandparents. Dey both pamper him like hell. His grandma told me dat he wont do his homework unless she sits beside him and do it wif him. So moz of da time, his grandma will bring all his homework for tusyen and I’ll spend dose precious 2 hours doing his homework wif him. And I cant gif him any homework coz his grandma has got no time to sit wif him wen he does his homework, so I cant gif him any homework.

How do I instill dis habit of trying even tho you dont know how to do it? I feel dat its a bad habit to juz gif up on somting wifout trying. How do I teach dat to a primary 2 boy?

Wif da tons and tons of assignments and presentations and nearly every single day of da month of having tusyen, the month of Ramadhan dis year went by very fast. I didnt realise till dis evening dat Hari Raya is next week! Imagine dat. Next Thursday will be the end of da fasting month and it will be Hari Raya but Hari Raya onli means dat exams is approaching damn fast. Im so scared! Of wat? Of not being able to finish reading up on Sejarah, which I doubt I can and not having time to memorise Linguistics, since I cant understand, I gotta memorise.

I miz Dear so, so much. Wif assignments and tusyen to keep me bz and him, having to gentel kilos and kilos of dose small epok-epok and popiah for his mom, we haf not met for 1 week. Dats a real achievement okie. Since puasa started, we haf onli met each oder around 4 times. Da next time we will meet will be on Thursday coz tomoro will be my laz day of tusyen!! *jumps around wif joy* I am so sick of tusyen at da moment. 1 more week of tusyen and I’ll jump off my window!

Dear has asked me several times to com to his haus and lend him 2 helping hands wif his fillial-son-chore, but Im sori Dear, I rather sit in of my lappie and do my assignments, den gentel epok-epok and popiah. Maybe next year I do my part as a fillial-daughter-in-law-to-be role ok.

I tink Ive not said it enuf…I miz u Dear…

Moi Bday Celebration….Happening Banget!!!! October 23, 2005

I turned 24 on 20 October 2005. Wah lau wei, Im old alreadi. Im going to reach a quarter century old alreadi. Its ok…as long as I still act like one 14 year old kid…hehehe.

My wonderful classmates sang 2 songs for me: 1st song “Mary Had A Little Lamb” but they stopped when they didnt know da laz line…so farni. Da 2nd song is a normal hepi bday song…I was so touched. *sob, sob*

After saying my acceptance speech, I got my bday prezzie…a huge black bag perfect for practicum next year. Thx moi classmates.

Dear took leave to bring me jalan-jalan and we reali did jalan-jalan practically like da whole Spore coz we didnt had time to catch any movies.

Den we went makaning @ Seoul Garden at Causeway Point. I was so sad and disappointed dat dey didnt serve my salmon sushi. I waited and waited, still no salmon sushi. Not going to go dere anymore, Im sticking to da Bugis Seoul Garden coz dere’s more variety dere and da atmosphere dere is better and dey certainly served salmon sushi!

Later at nite, da Geng cheated me by asking me to arrive late at Fard’s haus when dey actuali haf arrived dere way earlier den me. Noti eh.

Zal was bz in da kitchen frying his famous delicious chicken.

Mira was so sweet to bake a brownie cake for me…it was so yummy, yummy! Betol tak bohong!

I may be da biggest and Mira da smallest but she always bully me!! She sat on me!!

Da one who does not like to take pixs. Asal eh??

Juz for me, a brownie bday cake and 4 cartons of pizza….*drooling*

Da Geng got me wat I wanted….a handbag for my jalan-jalan raya…thnx so much!!

Dear juz confessed to me dat he took leave from work long ago to celebrate my bday wif me tomoro. He actuali wanted to surprise me but the cat got out of the bag after I arranged for tusyen tomoro. Since I had nuthin to do tomoro after skool till after breaking fast, I thot it would be betta to haf anoder tusyen session wif my tusyen kid. I didnt know dat Dear took leave. Aww so sweet…

So Geng sori for da laz min change, looks like I’ll be arriving at Fard’s haus a little bit later. But certainly b4 12 midnite ok muakz!
