Baby G surprise

I’ve found meself a great place to study, be by meself, in absolute silence (well not reali absolute) wif a great view of Bugis wen I turn to my right or my left (depending on where I sit on dat day). Dat place is none other den the Bugis Library, 9th floor, beside the glass window, preferably at the upmost corner of the 3rd table.

Hehehe…dere I can use my lappie and get free source of electricity, get free aircon, get free view, surrounded by books, books and more books and nobodi will disturb me. But cannot bring in bags, books or notes coz dats the reference section. But still I smuggle in notes somtimes. I haf my way…*wink, wink*

I can sit dere for hours, without moving except getting to search for more books. Time juz flies by. Laz Sun I sat dere for 7 hours, trying to read as many books I can find on sastera moden. Today I sat dere for 5 hours trying to read books on indonesia sastera moden but found dem a bore wen I cant understand so many Indo words. Actuali I was dere till 5 coz I was waiting for Dear to finish his CD coz at Ubi and he later came to fetch me at the lib. Looks like Im gonna spend more of my precious hours dere since more assignments are piling up.

Got a surprise pressie from Dear today. Was having my first meal of the day at Qi Ji (dat halal Chinese makan place at Shaw, Beach Rd), wen Dear whipped out a black box from his bag. Tot I was getting my diamond ring 16 months earlier or he’s gonna propose to me….khekhekhe…yeah rite. Oklah, nope none of dose but he got for me a baby-g watch. The one dat I said is nice everitime we walk pass a watch shop, and he would reply by saying dat “Tak abis-abis dengan jeans material”. Well, I got dis ting for jeans material.

Dear got me a Guess watch for my laz bday…my *bling, bling* watch. I like it very much. My fav color (pink) + my fav material (jeans) + lots of *bling*bling*, but I can count wif my toes how many times Ive worn dat watch and Dear haf been complaining dat I dont like dat pressie since I dont wear it. I love it too much to actuali wear it. Being da rough and accident prone person dat I am, I am so scared dat I will damage dat watch.

1 of the quality of Dear dat makes me love him and appreciate him more is his willingness to shower me wif surprises, often with the tings dat I commented are nice or I would get once I get my pay. Wen I least expect it, he would whip out a pressie out of his “magic” bag. The touching part is he reali makes an effort to go and shop for the items, somtimes going to several shops to get the best deals. Like about 2 years ago wen Harry Porter and the Order of The Pheonix came out, he went to Borders to get for the novel but it wasnt available in the adult cover, so he went to Kino at Bugis to get the novel. Den he went to Borders again coz he saw a kitty cat bookmark which he tot I would like and got it. Den he came all the way down to my house to surprise me with dat novel and bookmark. 2 years haf passed, and Im proud to say he still does dat for me, giving me lovely surprises and make sure I use dem..hehehe. Which gerl doesnt like surprises and be pampered rite??

but Dear, your gift may cost $0.50, but I would love it juz as much as a diamond ring (khekhekhe), coz wat matters to me is dat wen you went shopping for dose gifts for me, you did it wif love and wif me in your mind. I love you Dear…
